Kabbe Estate, started by Nadikeriyanda Kuttappa a top Kabbe Hill, is 4100ft above sea level,next to Padinalknad Reserve Forest, which is a UNESCO Heritage site. It is one of the high elevation coffees grown in Coorg, Karnataka. The plantation is half a century old with a rocky and steep terrain receiving over 250 inches of rainfall every year.The close to 20 years old Arabica plants are planted alongside various trees that are indigenous to the Western Ghats. There is an abundance of wildlife as the plantation is surrounded by reserve forests. The coffee beans are sun-dried at the planation and shipped to Ainmane for the further proceeding.
